![]() ![]() If in doubt, take the Mini Grips to your bike shop and ask for help. ![]() Hairspray is your friend- when it's wet, it's a lubricant to help remove grips when it's dry, it's a glue to hold grips in place.The Mini Grips do stretch, so be careful not to thread them over a bulge that will overstretch/tear them.Typically, commuter bike handlebars are thin throughout, and you can remove the bars and feed both Mini Grips on just one side.This means removing both adult grips and both gears/brakes. Typically, mountain bike handlebars have a bulge in the middle that means you have to install 1 Mini Grip on the left side, and one on the right.It is likely you will need to remove the handlebars, or at least loosen them, so you can shift the bars left and right to thread the Mini Grips on.All bikes will require that you remove at least one adult grip and one set of gears/brakes in order to thread the Mini Grips on the handlebars.Different bikes will require different strategies.GUIDE FOR INSTALLING YOUR MAC RIDE MINI GRIPS: ![]()
